Exciting new robot vacuum!

Hello,


At the end of November during the Black Friday sale, I purchased a Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2. Unfortunately, it is delayed with shipping so I cannot do the unboxing and review for this product, so I will instead do an unboxing and review for my Aqua10 Ultra Roller which I got in October. I hope I will still be eligible for this competition as I bought the L10s for this! I will do another unboxing review as soon as it arrives, but I don't know how delayed it will be.


Unboxing:
My vacuum arrived in a big box - very exciting! The box was very secure, in fact there was another box within the box, so I felt the item was very safe from being damaged during transit. I was not disappointed during the unboxing. This is a premium vacuum, and the packaging they use for it matches that exactly. Every item is individually boxed or wrapped so it feels secure. There were also a huge number of accessories included, so I probably won't need to restock for many months, which is a great additional touch.

Setup:
There are also multiple pamphlets with instructions which make it very clear on how everything needs to be set up. It probably took me about 10 minutes to set up the vacuum physically, and another 15 minutes to set up the app. I'm not amazing with apps, so if it is clear to me how to use it, anyone will be able to figure it out!

Vacuum use:
I've been able to test out this vacuum quite a bit and I've been very impressed. I'm always shocked at how it seems to find dirt on the floor every single mop cycle!
Pros:
-The app is very easy to use. There are still some settings, such as CleanGenius, which I am figuring out. But it's quite easy to customize your clean to ensure it's done exactly how you want it.
- The mopping is AMAZING. I set our mop to clean itself after every room, so I have to swap out the dirty water quite a lot, and I'm always shocked at how quickly the water gets dirty when I didn't think the house was messy.
Cons:
- The vacuum is not perfect on our carpets - it often leaves clumps of dirt/hair, but we do have a dog, so I think it is just beyond the capacity of any robot vacuum and instead requires our big stand up vacuum.
- The robot vacuum has gotten a bit confused before and just moved around in circles, but in these minor cases I just take it back to the dock and then it works again.
- The vacuum is very quiet when compared to our previous robot, even on the loudest mode.
Bonus:
- There is a feature to capture photos of your pets through the Dreame. This is a great feature as my pet is very relaxed around the vacuum, so she is in pictures a lot. You can also ask the Dreame to find your pet and you can look through the camera, so I have some extra peace of mind throughout the day.

Improvement ideas:
- I would love the vacuum to work in the corners. I know this is a limitation of all robot vacuums, but we have a lot of corners in our house and it would make a huge difference.
- I would love some improvements or customizations on the voice activation controls. It only responds to very specific requests which I don't have memorized. I would love to be able to set certain prompts myself for it to follow.
