Removing stuff during cleaning session

I have a doormat, which my x50 ultra knows about. It vacuums harder when it goes over it, which is fine. But sometimes I remove it, because I want to have the floor mopped or vacuum with the brush. But because there used to be a doormat, it does not use the brush during vacuuming. It pretends the doormat is still there. It will never remove the sand which is under my skirting board. Can you please fix this in a new software release.
