Cleaning liquid usage.

I have a question about cleaning liquid usage. I like sending out my Matrix 10 to do quick small jobs, and only once a week to do a proper clean of the entire floor.

My question is, if I send it to do a small mopping job, do I waste cleaning liquid? i.e., does the robot flush out its internal cleaning water/liquid tank every time it returns to the base station, even after a 2min job for example?

Hello, we completely understand your concern about whether small cleaning tasks might waste cleaning solution.

In fact, whether the robot uses cleaning solution depends on the options you have enabled in the App → Base Station Settings, such as:

Adding cleaning solution during mopping
Adding cleaning solution during mop washing

The robot will strictly follow your settings when dispensing cleaning solution and will not use extra solution simply because the task is short, even if it only runs for 2 minutes.
