[L10s Ultra Gen 2] Cleaning of edges, some water traces and circling of robot vacuum cleaner

Hello,

I have a few questions based on my observation:

I’ve noticed recently that my vacuum cleaner doesn’t clean the edges of a room or close the wall very efficiently, I’m not sure if this was always the case since I bought it about 6-8 months ago or if an update changed something I don’t know about, can anyone help or have answers for this?

Additionally, I’ve noticed that when it mops - it leaves behind some droplets of water. Is this common and what can be done?

The last few vacuum activities - I’ve observed that the vacuum cleaner gets stuck at certain locations and keeps circling around. Does anyone know what to do?

Hello,

You mentioned that the robot cannot thoroughly clean the edges of the room or walls. Here is a simple troubleshooting guide:

Please wipe the edge sensor on the right side of the robot with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure the edge sensor is not obstructed by any obstacles or objects.

Check if this model has a side brush and cloth extension function. If so, set the frequency to high.

Additionally, we suggest you turn off the less-collision mode in the floor cleaning settings. This function can be found in the floor cleaning settings. Refer to this for troubleshooting tips.

You also mentioned the problem of water stains left behind by your robot vacuum. Just like with manual mopping, even if the mop is wrung out well, some moisture remains that needs time to evaporate. The visibility of the water stains is strongly influenced by the floor material and the lighting.

You can first check if firmware and app updates are available. You can do this via the "Dreamehome" app: go to "Device page", click on the top right corner, go to "Settings", scroll down to "Firmware update", and enable "Automatic update" to install the latest version for a better user experience.

In case of heavy dust, we recommend using the sweep and mop mode, reducing the amount of water, or washing the mop only once per small area. After a few uses, the result will be better. For tiled floors or during damp seasons, you can set the robot vacuum to a cleaning timer or replace the mop more frequently for better results. We also recommend using a special cleaning solution to make the floor tiles cleaner and shinier.

Regarding getting stuck in certain spots and continuous circling:

Do not close the door of the room being cleaned while the robot is cleaning. Keep the door open and place furniture in the right spots to leave enough space.

Check if the LDS sensor on top of the robot is rotating normally. Remove any foreign objects immediately.

Restart the robot and try again.
